Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our team at Connector Specialists, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing sales strategies, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, identifying needs, and selling appropriate products and/or solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and retain existing customers within assigned territory.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with Inside Sales Representative(s) to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with our Systems Engineering team to identify, cultivate, and manage Fluid Power opportunities throughout the sales process.
  • Apply technical knowledge of our represented products, systems, and services to provide a value proposition that effectively addresses customer needs.
  • Manage accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, leads, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in our CRM.
  • Work towards achieving specific sales growth goals and strategic objectives set forth by Management.
  • Develop sales action plans and strategies.
  • Optimize time management by scheduling sales activities.
  • Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner consistent with our company mission, vision, and values.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Fast-paced, goal-oriented, self-motivated individual.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to establish and create relationships at all levels with customers and prospective organizations.
  • Proven sales closing skills with the ability to think outside the box when assisting customers with complex solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to learn products and sales processes/systems.
  • Ability to cover the Mobile, AL, and surrounding areas.
