Job Responsibilities
- Arrive at work as scheduled, dressed in the appropriate uniform, adhering to the company's grooming standards.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all assigned guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Follow the established order of room assignments for efficient service.
- Ensure guestroom windows are cleaned to the hotel's high standards.
- Replace all amenities and linens in accordance with hotel protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart and linen closets.
- Report any irregularities, such as unauthorized items or suspicious behavior, to the Supervisor.
- Notify Supervisors of any discrepancies, including vacant rooms.
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Report unsecured valuable items left in hallways and guest rooms.
- Complete cleaning of assigned rooms within the allotted shift time, ensuring all inspections are passed.
- Remove Room Service trays from rooms and place them by the room entrance.
- Replace burnt-out light bulbs following hotel standards.
- Assist in the preparation and deep cleaning of VIP rooms.
- Address spots on walls and carpets as needed.
- Engage in special cleaning projects as assigned.
- Refill cleaning bottles with appropriate chemicals according to departmental guidelines.
- Exhibit excellent guest relations skills when interacting with guests.
- Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Anticipate guest needs, demonstrating sensitivity and responsiveness to ensure satisfaction and repeat visits.
