The Dayton division has recently been named as one of only five prime awardees for the 10-year, $4.7 billion NOVASTAR contract supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), WPAFB, Ohio.

Epsilon C5I is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with at least 8-10 years of experience to support NASIC, WPAFB, OH.

Job Summary

This position is in support of a large IDIQ and will lead the research, development, and sustainment of systems and software capabilities for intelligence community implementation.

The successful candidate will have a passion for excellence in engineering and enjoy working on challenging projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced engineering knowledge to the technical design, development, and implementation of complex programming projects.
  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code that meets technical requirements.
  • Develop solutions unique to client needs.
  • Interface with clients.
  • Prepare and generate technical reports and other documentation pertinent to the position.
  • Give technical direction to lower-level programmers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least eight to ten years of experience in a software engineering role.
  • Proven experience in Software Design, Development, Test, and Evaluation.
  • Proven knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
Work Environment

Regular communication (hearing/speaking).

Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.

Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).

Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.

Ability to travel by car, air, or other means of transportation, if required.
