Job Title:

Medical Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team at Articularis Healthcare Group in Spartanburg, SC. As an Infusion RN, you will provide nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner, performing a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services under the direction of the manager/provider.

Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and assessing patient's health upon arrival and prior to their infusion appointment.
  • Insertions and discontinuation of peripheral intravenous catheters.
  • Mixing/monitoring of medications, administering premeds and medications in response to changes in patient's conditions.
  • Scheduling follow up appointments.
  • Documentation of patient visits.
  • Assisting with drug inventory management.
Requirements:
  • RN Degree
  • Active State Nursing License
  • 2 years' experience working in a healthcare facility
  • 6 months experience inserting IV's
  • Ability to connect well with others and communicate effectively
  • Familiarity with NextGen EMT System or another EMR
  • Knowledge of CTP & ICD-10 coding practices
