Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team to determine patient priorities and treatments
  • Initiate and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance outcomes
  • Seek necessary assistance in completing nursing interventions to assure positive patient outcomes
  • Participate in hourly rounding and bedside shift report
  • Provide clinical guidance to students and ancillary staff
  • Successfully complete hospital and unit-based orientation programs
  • Formulate a plan for professional growth
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical expectations regarding regulatory requirements
  • Identify appropriate standards of care, and/or collaborative clinical pathways to guide the plan of care
  • Comply with established policies and procedures
  • Serve on unit-based committees
  • Prioritize nursing interventions for an assigned group of patients

Requirements:

  • Novice to experienced nurse
  • Minimum of one year of recent R.N. experience within the past 5 years preferred
  • Current R.N. licensure in the state of South Carolina
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications
