Program OverviewThe Postpartum Nurse Residency Program is a 24-week preceptor-led clinical training program designed to equip new RNs with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality care to postpartum patients. The program includes educational workshops, clinical training, and ongoing support to ensure a successful transition to practice.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to postpartum patients and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in educational workshops and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement
- Graduating from an accredited nursing school with a BSN degree
- Less than 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Eligible for Delaware or Compact State licensure as a Registered Nurse
- A comprehensive orientation program
- Ongoing support and mentorship
