Job Summary

Myers Emergency Power Systems is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electromechanical components, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electromechanical components, including transformers, resistors, and capacitors.
  • Position and align parts in specified relationships to each other in fixtures or holding devices.
  • Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, or solders parts in place.
  • Mount assembled components on chassis panels.
  • Connect component lead wires to printed circuits or route and connect wires between individual component leads and other components.
  • Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
  • Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.
  • Perform intermediate assembly tasks as required.
  • Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to use various hand tools.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on quality and safety. The successful candidate will be required to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
