Job Title: Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Baker Roofing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of roofing systems, managing crew personnel, and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety on our job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the daily activities of roofing crews, including designating material staging areas and overseeing the installation of roofing systems.
  • Train and supervise crew personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Manage crew schedules, labor projections, and material storage to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure accurate project estimates and schedules.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of quality on all projects.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with a focus on project management and crew supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, including OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct crew personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
