Process Analysis Technician

SUMMARY:
The role involves the inspection, maintenance, installation, calibration, and operation of on-line process analyzers within the facility.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Conducts inspections, repairs, installations, calibrations, and operations of on-line analyzers in accordance with established protocols and manufacturer guidelines for repair, calibration, and/or replacement.

Employs electronic testing instruments.
Performs routine preventative maintenance.
Reports any unusual or recurring equipment failures and/or defective components to the immediate supervisor.

Participates in annual training sessions, including but not limited to RCRA, hearing conservation, respiratory protection, fire safety, and the use of SCBA equipment as required periodically.

Attends scheduled safety meetings.
Ensures the work area is cleaned after task completion and disposes of waste materials properly. Returns tools and equipment to designated storage areas.

Completes additional routine or assigned tasks as necessary to adhere to the maintenance department's work schedule, minimizing equipment downtime in a safe, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective manner.

Maintains and completes necessary documentation as outlined in ISO 9002 procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


A minimum of four years of experience in industrial instrumentation and/or electronics is preferred, along with the attainment of qualifying skills in at least two additional maintenance crafts to assist other technicians in their duties.
