Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Installation Specialist to join our team at Smith Pump. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining water treatment equipment and pumps in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission water treatment equipment and pumps at customer sites
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and pumps
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and pumps
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve complex problems
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in pump installation and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment equipment and pumps
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a commercial vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Pump Installer by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
