We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Staff Development and Education to join our team at Plumas District Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all in-service educational programs throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and evaluate educational programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to provide training and education services.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN or LPN/LVN license for the state of employment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing education or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
