Key Responsibilities

Design and develop cloud-based data management systems.

Translate business requirements into user-acceptable solutions.

Generate data by sourcing from appropriate systems to meet business needs.

Document code and processes for use by stakeholders, including business teams, Federal Reporting teams, and data warehouse members.

Provide SQL query support to analysts and end users.

Implement user requests both technically and operationally.

Attend meetings and participate in calls with users and other stakeholders as needed.

Participate in team meetings and technical reviews.

Communicate effectively with business, peers, and management to convey requirements, project status, and concerns.

Ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet requirements and expectations.

Develop skills in SQL, SAS, Snowflake, and Tableau.

Support business requirements gathering efforts for ongoing reporting.

Interact with business users and translate needs for Federal Reporting and Data Warehouse teams.

Generate tables, files, reports, and datasets upon request.

Write code in SAS or SQL to extract data from the EHS Data Warehouse and deliver requested outputs.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Cloud Data Warehousing, data analysis, BI Reporting, and enterprise information system architectures.

Strong SQL skills, preferably with Oracle and Snowflake, and/or SAS skills.

Experience with data warehouse operations, analytic functions, and query generation.

3-5 years of experience developing AWS cloud-based data solutions.

5+ years of experience with Snowflake or other cloud database platforms.

Experience creating and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical stakeholders, vendors, and business users.

Experience working with large, multi-terabyte enterprise data platforms in the cloud.

Familiarity with HIPAA and other data privacy controls for sensitive healthcare information.

Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and employees at all levels.

Strong logical reasoning and multi-tasking abilities.

Familiarity with Medicaid Federal Reporting processes and eligibility/claims-based systems.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certification or Snowflake/SAS certifications.

Experience with Cognos and/or Tableau for BI reporting.

Experience with Federal Reporting for Medicaid is a plus.

Education: Bachelors Degree
