Job Summary

The Industrial Engineer II will play a key role in analyzing production processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to create and maintain master data, standard costs, routers, and other manufacturing data. Additionally, the Industrial Engineer II will be responsible for executing manufacturing improvements and collaborating with Development and Operations functions to achieve objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute strategic improvement projects to obtain cost reductions and improved efficiencies
  • Identify process gaps and prioritize opportunities for improvement
  • Manage new product standard costing and collaborate with Development and Operations functions
  • Direct and perform time studies and efficiency analyses on machines and processes
  • Create and maintain Baan router and work center product master data and standard cost data
  • Determine and plan production equipment and type to meet product demand, cost, and quality goals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related subject
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Proficient analytical skills
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with others
  • Knowledge of SAP or other enterprise-wide management software is desirable
  • Proficient knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of corporate and industry standards
Essential Job Functions
  • Must be able to travel by air
  • Occasional overseas travel for extended periods as required
  • Occasional Domestic Travel as required
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
