Electrical Engineer II

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and verifying hardware and software systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform design, analysis, and verification testing of hardware and software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software.
- Support all phases of the hardware and software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
- Develop test procedures and related test report documentation.
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to acquire operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews, identify, track, and repair defects.
- Utilize a variety of software languages, including VHDL, MATLAB, and C/C++.
- Familiarity with Linux is highly preferred.
- Support process improvements to aid in team coordination and maintain delivery schedules.
- Communicate with leadership on status, issues, milestones, and successes.
- Must be capable of working with a minimum of supervision.
- Able to work simultaneously on a variety of projects.
- BS in Electrical Engineering with a GPA of 3.0+ from an accredited state university or equivalent institution.
- MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.
- 4-8 years of experience.
- Proficient in MATLAB and C/C++ is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with signal processing is highly preferred.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability and desire to learn new skills.
