About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro Interventional Technologist to join our team at Billings Clinic. As a key member of our Interventional Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, interventional, and neuro interventional procedures, including diagnostic, interventional angiograms, neurothrombectomy, and nonvascular interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality angiographic and interventional services at the request of physicians, utilizing a wide variety of specialized equipment, software, post-processing applications, and machinery.
  • Assist in catheter/wire manipulation and set the injector for contrast injection as needed.
  • Position patients and thoroughly explain procedures, alleviating apprehension and promoting cooperation.
  • Assess for allergies and ensure informed consent is obtained prior to procedures.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of required supplies and inform management of any unusual concerns or situations.
  • Ensure the Neuro Interventional and Special Procedures program is in compliance with regulatory agencies, including FDA, ACR, OSHA, and NRC.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiological technology.
  • One year experience as Diagnostic Imaging Technologist and/or Neuro Interventional/Special Procedures Technologist, with ability to take call for Neuro Interventional/Special Procedures independently.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Health Care Provider CPR certification, and current Montana license as a Radiology Technologist.
