The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a predictive and preventive maintenance program, as well as training and supervising maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a predictive and preventive maintenance program for the facility, grounds, and all plant equipment
  • Perform and/or coordinate actual maintenance/repairs as appropriate for Automatic Minster Press-lines, Manual Presses, Robotic Welders and Machines, Resistance Welders, Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically driven equipment, Forklifts, Multiple Overhead Cranes, Air Compressors, AC / Heating Units/Systems, Alarm System(s), Garage doors, and Facility infrastructure
  • Manage lock-out/tag-out procedures and maintain a list of employees and associated issued locks/keys
  • Train and conduct performance assessments of personnel for the safe operating of forklifts, scissor-lifts, and overhead cranes
  • Responsible for re-application of all safety labels/markings, including equipment identification, confined space identification, plant floor-lines, emergency exit signs, SDS labels and containers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years prior essential duty related experience, preferably in a metal stamping and welding environment
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouch, or crawling, and talking or hearing
