Job Overview

As an integral member of our skilled workforce, you will engage in a collaborative environment focused on the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft, including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of engines and associated systems. Your expertise will also contribute to modifications on our Boeing flying test bed.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties
  • Conduct maintenance and modifications on Boeing flying test bed.
  • Execute jet engine module removal and installation, performing various machining and repair tasks utilizing hand tools and specialized equipment.
  • Carry out sheet metal repairs as required.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company policies and FAR 145 standards.
  • Install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair test engines and pylons.
  • Plan the installation of assemblies and systems in aircraft based on blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Utilize maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, and service bulletins effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and conduct aircraft system tests.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality workmanship.
  • Accurately complete parts tags, log books, and task cards with attention to detail.
  • Adhere to environmental safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate cherry pickers, man lifts, and forklifts safely.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Possession of a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Able to work at heights of up to 80 feet.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must be open to completing additional security screenings as necessary.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
  • Compliance with Zero Tolerance DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a technical field.
  • Demonstrated capability to train peers.
  • Familiarity with FAR145 Repair Station Procedures.
  • Experience with wide-body Boeing aircraft.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good judgment in maintenance and safety practices.
  • Effective problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to interpret Company and Manufacturer Manuals.
  • Competence to perform all line maintenance functions independently.

The compensation for this position is competitive and influenced by various factors, including experience and skill set. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
