Veregy is a leading provider of decarbonization solutions, accelerating and simplifying the energy transition for our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Systems Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with and manage building automation service contracts and service projects by managing customer requests, implementing corrective actions, supervising subcontractors, ordering material, and managing budgets.
  • Assist clients and project teams with design, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems.
  • Write and optimize building automation control sequences to reduce energy consumption and increase facility-wide energy efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot low-voltage circuitry in the field and verify functional requirements are met.
  • Respond to and rectify customer issues or occupant comfort complaints in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Experience in project leadership or management.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented multi-tasker.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and diplomatic communication skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills; ability to collaborate with other engineers to methodically solve complex problems.
  • Outgoing, energetic self-starter.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with at least one CAD or 3D modeling software.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, or Software.
  • 1-3 years in building automation system design and implementation.
Work Environment
  • This position requires work to be accomplished in both an office and field/construction environment.
Physical Demands
  • This position requires sitting for periods of time at a computer with the freedom to walk around the office when necessary; occasional phone, copy machine, and other office machine use; participate in teleconferences using a headset/earpiece, and lifting to 50 lbs. as needed.
