Cookie's Retail - CR Management Co LLC is a leading name in the retail sector, preparing to expand its operations across various locations. We are in search of a dedicated and results-driven individual to become a vital part of our trim and packaging division. The Extract Trim and Packager plays a crucial role in executing production strategies while adhering to the company's established protocols. This position involves participating in the daily operations of the medical cannabis production process.
Key Responsibilities

- Possess fundamental knowledge and be open to learning about harvesting techniques for fresh frozen, shucking dried and cured materials, jarring extracts, applying labels, and packaging products.
- Consistently execute daily tasks in the extract trim and packaging areas, including removing buds from stalks, inspecting buds visually, hand trimming, maintaining cleanliness, and basic record-keeping.
- Accurately weigh products.
- Label jars, boxes, and mylar bags appropriately.
- Package products into jars, boxes, and mylar bags efficiently.
- Understand and comply with state regulations, policies, and procedures, while striving to enhance knowledge of the industry and legal requirements.
- Analyze potential issues with plants or products being processed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to company standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
- Learn and implement safe and effective commercial cannabis processing techniques.
- Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Be willing to undertake additional responsibilities as required.
- Exhibit the physical capability and health necessary for manual labor tasks essential for managing extraction areas and cultivation facilities.

This role operates within a cGMP-compliant manufacturing facility. Employees are required to use gloves and scissors, and to wear protective gear such as coveralls, hairnets, and face covers when necessary. The position often requires extended hours, with opportunities for weekend work available.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to communicate effectively. Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands or feet are necessary, along with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Position Type and Work Hours:
This is a full-time role that regularly demands long hours and may involve weekend work.
Travel Requirements:
This position does not involve travel.
