Phlebotomy Specialist

As a Phlebotomy Specialist with Global Technical Talent, you will play a vital role in our patient services team. Your primary responsibilities will include building trust and confidence with patients while explaining procedures and drawing blood samples accurately and safely.

Explaining procedures and drawing blood samples accurately and safely
Specimen Handling:
Preparing blood samples for lab testing according to established protocols
Quality Assurance:
Ensuring patient information is handled with confidentiality and accuracy
Teamwork:
Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a positive work environment and achieve team goals
Requirements:
Phlebotomy Skills:
Proven expertise in phlebotomy techniques, including pediatric and geriatric patients
Customer Service:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous approach to data entry and recordkeeping
Flexibility:
Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
Certification:
Preferred phlebotomy certification (required in certain states)
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Additional Requirements:
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Commitment to company policies and procedures, including dress code and safety guidelines
