Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at The Kidz Club. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and feeding disorders in children from birth to 21 years old. You will develop individualized treatment plans to address clients' communication and swallowing difficulties, utilizing evidence-based practice in therapy sessions tailored to each client's specific needs.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and feeding disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' communication and swallowing difficulties.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Provide education and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies for carry-over therapy at home.
- Stay current with advancements in the field through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Possession of a master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA and state licensure from the Florida Department of Health.
- Clinical experience working with the pediatric population, with a strong preference for medical pediatric experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency using standardized assessment tools, therapeutic interventions, and assistive technologies relevant to the field.
