Overview

As a Senior Product Strategist for Retail Solutions, you will work directly with cross-functional teams to deliver the mobile team's roadmap. This includes translating product and platform vision into user stories, defining requirements for each feature, and owning the writing, grooming, and prioritization of user stories in the backlog.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000, based on experience, considering a 4-day onsite schedule in Columbus, OH, and an hourly rate of $45-$50.

Key Responsibilities

  • IDentify, gather, and write business and functional requirements, breaking down features into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Complete ownership of product backlog, including grooming and prioritization.
  • Identify and surface gaps in requirements, cross-team and department dependencies, and coordination needs, and risks to implementations; work with stakeholders to mitigate risks.
  • Attend meetings, kickoffs, and work sessions with stakeholders to ensure a solid grasp of the organizational vision, intent of features, and value to be delivered to stakeholders.
  • Educate stakeholders on Scrum and Agile best practices, negotiate priorities and timelines across stakeholder groups.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Business Analysis and Product Ownership work experience in both waterfall and agile environments, with active experience in Scrum methodology.
  • Possess strong requirements gathering and analysis skills for both business and functional requirements.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, effective education, and persuasion skills.
  • Possess the ability to acquire, compile, and evaluate large amounts of data.
  • Project experience in Restaurant POS (Point of Sale).
