Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Admin, Compensation professional to join our team at Safilo USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR Admin services and expertise in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, contributing to the sustainable growth of the business, in accordance with assigned resources and the Group guidelines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Admin and Payroll activities for all NA employee ensuring the compliance with local relevant tax law, social security, audit and Handbook Company policy alignment.
  • Partner with the Payroll outsourcer and with the internal team in order to ensure the bi-weekly Payroll processing, salary payment and accounting reporting. Fulfillment to all the relevant periodical compliance audits and reporting, including year end.
  • Partner with relevant vendors and internal functions to manage and administer Benefit Programs/Open Enrollment, including but not limited to the maintenance of medical, dental, disability, life insurance, FMLA, flexible spending accounts, COBRA.
  • Partner with outside consultants, legal counsel to prepare and execute benefit documentation such as original and amended plan texts, benefit agreements, insurance policies and required amendments to vendor contracts.
  • Partner with vendor to manage the administration of employee savings plans (US & CANADA). Act as liaison with savings plan record keeper, investment advisor, external auditors and legal counsel. Coordinate efforts associated with tax and ERISA compliance audits and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all pertinent federal and local regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit programs (including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Workers Compensation, Medicare, Social Security, DOL requirements, etc..)
  • Ensure the management of the Retirement Plan 401k Administration and Compliance
  • Wellness Programs – Design and manage programs for Company of wellness programs and activities.

Required Skills:

years' experience in Admin Payroll/Benefits and/or C&B management role

2. Strong and proven technical Admin, Payroll & benefits skills

3. Demonstrated experience in effectively managing multiple priorities and complex issues

4. Prior Management Experience

5. Must be well organized

6. Education/Certifications: Degree on Business Economic or equivalent Degree
