AWARE is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Relief Residential Care Specialist to join our team. As a Relief Residential Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Implement individual support plans, assessing strengths and skills in daily living to promote functional independence.
  • Assist adults with developmental disabilities in identifying, developing, and participating in meaningful activities to increase their independence.
  • Administer assessment instruments and assist in the development of training programs for persons with developmental disabilities.
  • Assist in training programs that focus on basic living skills, independent living skills, vocational skills, and academic skills.
Requirements
  • Computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and use performance-based software and electronic medical records systems.
  • Interpersonal oral and written communication skills to work as a team member, make observations, and report them accurately.
  • High School Diploma or HSE is required, along with past employment experience.
  • A valid Montana Driver's License or the ability to obtain one, and an acceptable driving record.
  • An acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
