The Early Childhood Educator's primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding educational experiences for young learners by developing and executing subject-specific lesson plans. These educators implement the established BASIS Curriculum while customizing lessons to incorporate their expertise and enthusiasm for the subject matter.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field or education
  • 2+ years of teaching or educational experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement grade-specific lesson plans
  • Deliver subject instruction at an advanced level in an engaging learning environment to achieve exceptional outcomes for all students
  • Execute the BASIS Curriculum by creating effective and innovative lessons and assessments to ensure students' education is globally competitive
  • Collaborate with fellow BASIS Curriculum educators to enhance curriculum materials and foster a community of dedicated professionals passionate about education
  • Provide tutoring in content-specific knowledge and skills to elevate students' academic and career trajectories
  • Manage student behavior to promote academic success, personal accountability, intellect, individuality, and respect among all students
  • Engage in extracurricular activities, such as clubs and sports
  • Substitute for colleagues' classes as necessary
  • Assist with non-instructional duties, such as supervision during arrival, dismissal, and lunch
  • Maintain consistent, reliable attendance
  • Oversee individual students and/or groups of students
  • Perform other duties as assigned
