About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and versatile Product Manager to join our innovative team at Three Space Lab. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through to launch and ongoing iterations. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and strategic product management skills, including comprehensive market research, product strategy development, roadmap creation, and seamless cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of groundbreaking VR products that push the boundaries of technology and user experience. We're looking for individuals with a strong technical background and prior experience in the VR industry. The ability to rapidly assimilate new knowledge, coupled with a proactive and resourceful builder mentality, is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities
Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned with company goals and market needs, prioritizing features and enhancements based on user feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
Develop internal workflows and tools: Design and implement efficient workflows, tools, and practices to support 3SL artists in creating assets for client projects. Ensure that these internal systems enhance productivity and streamline the asset production process. Continuously evaluate and refine workflows to align with project requirements and artist needs.
Work closely with the CEO and other C-level executives to develop and execute the company's strategic vision. Provide technical insights and support in aligning product development with business goals, ensuring that engineering efforts contribute effectively to the overall strategy.
Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends, utilizing insights to inform product development and positioning.
Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards. Work closely with engineering, arts team, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive and efficient product development processes.
Engage in technical aspects of product development as needed, including working with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and constraints ensuring product feasibility and scalability. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in virtual reality technology.
Oversee the planning and execution of product launches by developing go-to-market strategies, creating product documentation, and providing training and support to sales and customer service teams.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve products by implementing changes and enhancements based on user experience and feedback.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize product performance.
Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders building strong relationships with key partners and customers.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology-focused company. Experience with technical products and a background in a technical field is highly desirable.
Preferred candidates will have demonstrable experience in the virtual reality (VR) industry.
Candidates should have some relevant experience in 3D graphics technology or working with game engines.
Proficiency in C# or substantial experience with other programming languages is required.
Experience with the web stack, including front-end and back-end technologies is a big plus.
Experience with cloud platforms and Linux operating systems is preferred.
Experience with Android development is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Familiarity with technical concepts and the ability to engage with engineering teams. Understanding of software development processes and tools.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional user experiences. Ability to translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements.

Our estimated base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 for the right candidate. The actual base salary for any offer will vary based on individual qualifications and market factors. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary for this role may be modified. In addition to salary, your compensation will include a generous equity package, reimbursement for health insurance costs, paid vacation time and sick leave, and retirement (401(k)) benefits.
