Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a Primary Care setting. As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care, administer vaccinations and injections, and perform various clinical tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements
  • Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care in collaboration with the provider on site
  • Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout, as well as assist with wait room management and other responsibilities
  • Prepare the clinic and waiting space for the best patient experience
Requirements
  • Previous experience administering immunizations and injections, and providing evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
  • Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Ability to take vital signs and perform Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
  • Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record
