With a focus on emergency care, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while adhering to established practice standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process to provide age-appropriate care to patients in the emergency department
Adhere to established practice standards and procedures in the administration of medications and in-patient care activities
Document care provided using hospital standards
Provide education to patients and families based on assessment of learning needs
Follow the Standards of Practice established for the Emergency Services Department
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of clinical practice required
ED experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current state license
ACLS and BLS Required
Work Status:
Set schedule. 2-12 hour night shifts per week. 7P-7A.
