About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Design Engineer to join our team at Lochner. As a key member of our aviation infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing airport engineering projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop airport engineering projects, including site design, sanitary wastewater, water, and hydraulic evaluation.
  • Prepare engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents/technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum PE designation required.
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on aviation-related projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
