About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to provide project management and mechanical design services on a variety of building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design, with experience in retail, commercial, central plants, boilers, cooling towers, and related markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management and mechanical design services on assigned projects
  • Assist in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new buildings, and for renovations and additions to existing facilities
  • Coordinate project designs with other disciplines
  • Maintain positive client relationships
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 5-10 years of experience in A/E industry performing HVAC and plumbing system design
  • E.I.T. or P.E. Registration (preferred)
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible
  • Proven mechanical/HVAC design capability in retail, commercial, central plants, boilers, cooling towers, and related markets
  • Experience working on Healthcare, Airport, Government, or Educational projects (preferred)
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit modeling tools
  • Knowledge of building mechanical codes and the ability to perform accurate load calculations and energy modeling
  • Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
