We are currently looking for a Senior Automation Engineer specializing in Rockwell Automation to take charge of all facets of process automation engineering and system integration. This includes everything from initial concept development and specification creation to design engineering, documentation, project execution, testing, and training of both operational and maintenance teams. As a pivotal member of our diverse team, you will tackle our clients' most intricate automation challenges.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead or collaborate on project teams focused on the design, configuration, and testing of both continuous and batch control applications.
  • Proactively identify and provide solutions to project leadership and customers, prioritizing customer satisfaction while offering robust technical expertise.
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment, emphasizing customer service and continuous improvement.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of PLC experience in a relevant industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent educational background.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong technical aptitude and a passion for learning new technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop process control system applications using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems, along with experience in configuring thin client server applications and maintaining databases for data collection.
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting virtual server-based control system architectures, as well as a solid understanding of control system network topologies such as Ethernet, Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet.
  • Familiarity with process instrumentation specification, installation, troubleshooting, and control panel design, checkout, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong foundation in collaboration and teamwork.

Preferred Application Knowledge:

  • PLC Programming with Rockwell Studio5000 and RSLogix5000, including the ability to program in RLL, SFC, and ST.
  • Experience with other control systems such as GE Fanuc, Siemens, DeltaV, Honeywell DCS, and GE iFix is a plus.

Additional Experience:

  • Familiarity with Bio Reactors, Skid System Controls, Clean/Steam in Place, Freeze Dryers, Autoclave Control Systems, Centrifuge Systems, Building Management & HVAC Control Systems, Purified Water Systems, Finished Product Transfer Systems, Granulator Control Systems, Boiler Control Systems, Pasteurization and Homogenization, Wastewater Treatment, and Weighing and Metering Systems.

Salary: 120,000
