Job Overview

GW Lisk Company Inc is seeking a highly skilled Automation/Controls Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement control systems for new equipment and upgrades
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with Test Engineering to ensure effective communication between equipment and databases
  • Design and implement industrial automation solutions to reduce manual labor and improve quality
  • Refine and enhance processes using Lean manufacturing techniques
  • Evaluate capital equipment investments and prepare cost justifications
  • Identify and implement solutions for safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery issues
  • Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods and establishing standards

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role
  • Hands-on experience with factory automation, including PLC, HMI, robotics, and vision systems
  • Adept with MS Project to track project schedules
  • Lean manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant Controls Engineering experience
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley, Cognex, and Keyence vision systems, Fanuc and Epson robots
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification

Compensation: $73,000.00 - $95,000.00 annual base salary based on experience
