Booking Operations Specialist

Overview of Responsibilities:
Conduct daily reviews of reservations, including third-party billing, arrival and departure schedules, guest profiles, room allocations, special requests, and ensuring exceptional service for all VIP guests.
Handle special billing inquiries with precision.
Maintain accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Process no-show reservations and facilitate communication among all relevant departments.
Conduct test calls to the Global Reservation Center.
Collaborate with the Sales team to coordinate group bookings.
Establish group room blocks, manage rooming lists, billing, and special notes, and execute group reservations within the block.
Monitor room availability and promptly inform the Reservations Manager of any urgent changes.
Generate daily reports and complete the daily shift task list.
Assist with additional assigned responsibilities.
Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, travel agents, Global Reservation Center agents, and other stakeholders involved in the reservations process.
Adhere to AccorHotels Policies & Procedures.
Perform necessary office administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a reservations agent or 2 years in a customer service role.
Experience in the hospitality industry with a solid understanding of operations is essential.
Familiarity with Opera is preferred.
Exhibit professional telephone and email etiquette, along with the ability to promote the hotel's products and services.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn, possess a friendly demeanor, and work effectively within the reservations team and other departments, with clear and concise communication skills.
At least two years of prior experience in a luxury hotel customer service role or a minimum of 1 year in hotel reservations.
Proficient in the following:
Property Management Systems (preferably Opera), Central Reservation Systems, and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
Possess a positive attitude, be motivated, a team player, well-organized, efficient, and informative.
Able to work effectively in a confined office environment, primarily seated at a desk.
Strong organizational skills are essential.
Able to contribute as a team member as well as work independently.
