Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our innovative team at Knickerbocker Group Inc. This role offers a unique blend of traditional accounting and cutting-edge data analysis, providing a challenging and rewarding experience for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical financial support for ongoing operations, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of job costs, identify key trends, and deliver recommendations to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and present forward-thinking analytics that inform business decisions and shape future actions.
  • Assist department leaders with tools and reports that enable agile decision-making and responsive strategy adjustments.
  • Build and maintain databases on various aspects of the business, including employee benefits, sales history, and job performance.
  • Design impactful reports and presentations to support core operational areas, such as design, construction, property management, and procurement.
  • Support audits and assist with payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and client invoicing as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on construction accounting and job costing.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and interpreting financial statements.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems, such as Acumatica Cloud ERP.
  • Strong forensic accounting skills and the ability to think outside the box to solve complex problems.
