Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychotherapist to join our team at OSF HealthCare. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a compassionate and experienced multi-disciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care to adolescents and adults with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop treatment plans to promote cognitive and behavioral change.
  • Provide individual, couples, family, or group therapy sessions to support patient progress and goals.
  • Effectively manage a patient caseload and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age and diagnoses of the patients served.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in counseling or social work.
  • Illinois licensure as a LCPC or LCSW.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively provide quality patient care.
  • Knowledge of the principles of growth and development, as well as physical, emotional, and psycho-social needs of the patient population served.
  • Proven skills in written/verbal communications, problem solving, independent problem solving, decision making abilities, creativity, prioritization/delegation, and necessary computer-related skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience post-master's degree completion.
  • 2 years of experience working with the age and diagnoses of the population served.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting.
