About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Support Representative to join our team at Holman Inc. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process policy changes, answer billing questions, and issue insurance documents and certificates.
  • Assist the sales team by organizing and filing required insurance policy documents and customer information.
  • Field questions from prospects and customers regarding insurance coverage options, policy provisions, discounts, and pricing.
  • Participate in efforts to maximize renewal retention, including monitoring policy expiration reports and making outbound renewal calls.
  • Work closely with management to achieve premium, retention, and growth targets for all lines of business.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the insurance group at all Holman functions and across the organization.
  • Interact with account representatives and customer service personnel to help the business meet its growth and service objectives.
Requirements
  • Four-year college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • Property and Casualty insurance experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates must have an insurance license or be able to sit for and pass state licensing exams for both Property and Casualty.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including some evening and Saturday hours.
  • Candidates must have a "get it done" attitude and be willing to adapt and change as the business grows.
  • Individuals must be highly organized and exceptional at following up on assigned tasks.
  • Become acquainted with and a robust user of the Agency Management System.
  • Individuals must be goal-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable with individual accountability while also being collaborative and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop genuine relationships with selected business partners and fellow team members.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
