We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bio-Analytical Instrument Technician to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing high-complexity preventive maintenance on various instrumentation, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our laboratory results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-complexity preventive maintenance on LCMS/MS, Ion Mobility, HPLC, and other laboratory instruments.
- Conduct experiments and suitability tests to evaluate new laboratory instruments.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation issues, including communication, software, and hardware problems.
- Assist in the installation of new instruments and ensure proper documentation is in place.
- Maintain a high level of competency and expertise in instrumentation, including reading related articles and attending workshops and seminars.
- Assist in special projects and travel to other business units as needed.
- At least three to five years of experience as a Bio-Analytical Instrumentation Technician or related field.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
