Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed guides and best practices for our V4 Developer Platform, including user guides, reference manuals, and API documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy in our documentation.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and user-friendly, making it easy for our customers to understand and utilize our platform.
  • Manage and maintain documentation on our new CMS platform, ensuring it is accessible and up-to-date.
  • Continuously update and improve documentation based on customer feedback and changes to the platform.
  • Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer or Documentation Specialist, preferably in the software or SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and software development, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with GitHub and other documentation tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience documenting APIs or developer tools, with a strong understanding of software development practices.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and software development methodologies.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.

Compensation:

  • Up to $50.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
