Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the appropriate welding equipment and method.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including manual and semi-automatic welding machines, to join metal components.
  • Align and clamp metal components using precision tools and equipment.
  • Weld components in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead, using FCAW and other welding processes.
  • Repair and maintain machinery and other components by welding and filling gaps.
  • Verify the quality of welded surfaces and structures to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and organized manner.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in welding, preferably in a fabrication or construction environment.
  • Proficiency in FCAW, STICK, and other welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing and PPE.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Pass a 6GR welding test.
Working Conditions

The Welder will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and safety. The work will involve working at heights and in confined spaces, and the Welder must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
