Job Summary

BlueWave Resource Partners is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder/Fitter to join our team in Brownsville, TX.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience working with various metal types and welding processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks to assemble structural forms and components
  • Utilize hand welding and flame-cutting equipment to cut, trim, and scarf metal objects
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations
  • Inspect own welds to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards
  • Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of experience with TIG or GTAW welding

Preferred Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, oxy-acetylene, fitting, and arc gouging
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements
  • Experience with standard tools and materials of the welding trade
