Position Overview:
The Government Compliance Administrator is responsible for managing and submitting reports, ensuring the accurate payment of Federal Excise Taxes (FET) on a semi-monthly basis, balancing inventory, and providing audit support. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with TTB regulations and ensuring the accuracy of processing and bottling documentation.
- Maintain compliance with all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies. Ensure timely submission of reports, including Processing Operations and FET tax returns, while balancing case goods and bulk inventories.
- Prepare and submit semi-monthly FET reports accurately and promptly, ensuring distribution to relevant parties.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure the reliability of government records and facilitate necessary improvements.
- Assist in audits by organizing and providing access to government records documentation.
- Conduct reviews for TTB compliance in bottling, processing, and shipping areas, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Foster professional relationships within and outside the organization, exemplifying company values.
- Work with management to enhance skills and performance, implementing a personal development plan focused on career advancement.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Detail-oriented with a proven track record of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Experience in compliance-related fields such as TTB, Customs, or auditing.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an accounting or inventory control background.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Ability to develop compliance solutions that satisfy both government agencies and company operations.
- Knowledge of relevant government regulations and import/export processes.
- Experience in the Alcoholic Beverage Industry.
Physical Requirements:
- In-person job attendance is required.
Compensation:
Minimum: USD $65,600.00/Yr. Maximum: USD $82,000.00/Yr.
