Position Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced Echocardiography ultrasound techniques and examinations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic studies are conducted according to physician orders. Your expertise will contribute to the evaluation and interpretation of cardiac conditions, including but not limited to cardiac valve stenosis and insufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Echocardiography exams on patients across various settings, including Intensive Care Units.
- Maintain and care for ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions.
- Document examination data and relevant patient information accurately.
- Achieve Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification in Echocardiography within twelve months of employment.
- Utilize formal training in Echocardiography ultrasound techniques.
- Exhibit basic clerical skills to support departmental operations.
