We are seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Maryland Faculty Physicians. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting optimal health outcomes in an ambulatory care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with patients, physicians, and the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify health risks, and provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and coordinate services to meet the needs of patients.
- Advocate for patients and their families to ensure they receive high-quality, patient-centered care that is efficient and cost-effective.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current Maryland licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Two to three years clinical experience.
- CPR certification is required.
