Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the parts sales process from initiation to completion
  • Engage with customers and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner
  • Effectively communicate regarding the status of customer parts
  • Utilize the parts catalog to accurately identify and discuss specific parts
  • Handle incoming calls, providing pricing and information to customers
  • Examine body shop estimates to ensure parts orders are accurate and pricing aligns with estimates
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients
  • Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory while conducting regular stock checks
  • Inform the parts manager of any out-of-stock items or urgent shop materials
  • Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and place emergency orders when necessary
  • Ensure all internal parts requests are billed correctly on service repair orders
  • Process payments from retail customers or obtain necessary credit approvals
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; prior experience in auto parts sales is preferred
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective time management abilities
  • Capability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documentation
  • Proficiency in performing calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, and other figures
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with insurability standards
