About the Role

As a Preschool Teacher and Curriculum Developer at Child Town Inc., you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in young children.

You will work closely with a team of experienced educators to develop and maintain a curriculum that is rooted in best practices and continuously updated to meet the evolving needs of today's children.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in areas such as language, social skills, cognitive skills, and motor skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and maintain a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and learn.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, and communicate with parents about their child's development.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare/preschool setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $42,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
  • Paid time off including 1 week paid during Christmas as long as employed for a minimum of 6 months. Paid holidays (7) after 90-day probationary period.
