Position Overview

The Nurse Practitioner role within our ambulatory infusion centers is crucial for providing specialized and preventative care. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing individualized infusion treatment plans, while continuously assessing patient progress.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments for patients with complex health issues.
  • Ordering and interpreting necessary diagnostic tests based on patient needs.
  • Prescribing appropriate treatments and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Facilitating smooth transitions for patients across various healthcare settings.
  • Providing education to patients and families to promote independence in managing their care.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Responding effectively to patient inquiries and urgent situations.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to uphold high standards of care.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree from an accredited nursing program and Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current APRN licensure and certification in the relevant specialty.
  • Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in infusion therapy.
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in electronic health records.
Compensation and Benefits
