Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiovascular service line. The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient CT and vascular populations and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques to obtain a comprehensive health history and formulate a plan of care.
  • Use advanced health assessment skills to differentiate normal and abnormal findings.
  • Synthesize knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to access, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes and promote continuity of care.

Requirements

  • BSN, Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • MSN, Master's Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program.
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required.
  • APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire Required.
  • NP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required.
  • 2 (Two) Years experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • One (One) Years cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery patient experience strongly preferred.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required and maintained quarterly.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support –Within 30 days of hire preferred.
