Department: Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine

Locations: Specialty Centers in Plano and Prosper, as well as Children's Medical Center Dallas and Plano.

Job Summary: We are seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric pulmonology and experience working with children with respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities:

* Enhance communication and collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
* Assist families in identifying goals and priorities, and help with decision-making
* Provide emotional, social, educational and psychosocial support
* Help arrange supportive home care services
* Provide direct clinical care in an expanded role guided by education, certification, licensure, clinical expertise and Prescriptive Authority Agreement or Delegation Protocol

Requirements:

* At least two years job-related experience preferred
* At least two years experience in pediatrics or related specialized area of nursing preferred
* Ability to demonstrate exposure and sincere interest in chronic care life-limiting illness preferred
* Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Advanced Professional Education to support required licensing required
* A minimum of a master's degree (Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies) is required
* Current license in the state of Texas (RN and APRN for Nurse Practitioner, PA for Physician Assistant), required
* Appropriate accompanying board certification to state license, required
