The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and inspecting complex electrical/electronic subassemblies and assemblies. Key responsibilities include:

* Performing bench-type processes to complete electrical/electronic assemblies and subassemblies using hand tools and equipment such as soldering irons, wire-cutters, and electronic tooling.
* Following established methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
* Verifying completed assembly against specification.
* Making setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
* Applying skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment as appropriate to area of specialization.

Requirements include:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum 1-2 years experience.
* Experience with assembly and measuring tools preferred.
* Ability to interpret visual aids.
* Must demonstrate ability to solder using SN96 or HMP.
* BGA soldering experience a plus.
* Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination is necessary.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
* Be able to sit for extended periods during the 8 hour shift.
* Must be able to visually inspect small items for accuracy.
* Must be able to handle small parts.
* Must have manual dexterity.
* Able to read and follow detailed instructions.
* Able to work effectively in a team environment.
* Excellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability required.
* Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).
* Prior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred.

Physical Demands:

* Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
* Talk and hear in person.
* Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls.
* Reach with hands and arms.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
* Occasionally may need to exert up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects.
