Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify all orders for precision and release by the end of each business day.
- Generate and send sales order confirmations to clients and relevant sales personnel.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies related to orders.
- Input orders into our ERP booking system efficiently.
- Prepare formal quotes and proposals as requested by sales staff and clients.
- Maintain and track quotations within our Salesforce database.
- Engage in extensive client communication via email.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is organized within each order folder.
- Provide exceptional service to internal stakeholders through email correspondence.
- Regularly update required spreadsheets to reflect current data.
- Monitor multiple customer portals for new purchase orders throughout the day.
- Handle inbound calls on the sales line, assisting or directing clients to the appropriate contacts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service.
- Proficient in email communication; strong skills in Excel, Word, and data entry.
- Familiarity with various payment terms.
- Experience in manufacturing settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of product lead times is preferred.
- Experience with international shipping is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently.
- Proactive in seeking resolutions to outstanding issues.
